About Me

My photo
Bibi
Hi, I'm Bibi - mother to two gorgeous girls and wife to one lovely husband. My life took an enormous turn in 2014 when my youngest daughter was diagnosed with a genetic condition - it has entirely altered the landscape of mine and my family's life. My main aim with this blog is to present the troubles and triumphs that we face from hospital appointments, to fabulous achievements, that we always keep our expectations high and that there truly is life beyond a diagnosis. I'm passionate about coffee, education, music, fashion, art, books, films, genetics, my friends, family and having my hair done monthly, in a bid to hide the premature grey *cries inside*!! My posts will, more often than not, be about the things I observe, the experiences I have and issues I feel need a voice. Some will be happy, some may be tinged with sadness. Whatever will pour from my head to my page, I hope you will get to know me and enjoy what you read :) You can follow me on Twitter @BibiMac3 for latest updates and of course you can hit the follow button on Chromosomes and Coffee too. I welcome comments and conversation, so please feel free to leave me a message and I will reply!
